What You Can Expect

Relationship Building First

The research is clear, your level of success is dependent on our ability to build a relationship that you trust. So, I make sure you get a sense of me as a person….and me as a seasoned professional. All emotions are welcome, including laughter and tears.

Empirically Based Treatment Modalities

After over a decade of clinical experience, I do strategically pick from multiple modalities. I predominately pull from an IFS (Internal Family Systems) parts framework, and weave CBT/DBT/ACT/MI/Narrative Therapy components. My work is attachment focused, trauma informed, relational, and insight oriented.

A Clinical Expectation

I require all clients choosing to seek my professional services to be highly motivated. You will be expected to challenge your comfort level, your belief systems, your behaviors, and your thinking patterns. You will be expected to regularly engage and show for appointments on time. This is the required formula for success to be possible.

Please continue to check back for ongoing updates. Additional insurances accepted could change daily.

If I do not currently accept your insurance, I am also happy to provide all clients with what is known as a "superbill", which will allow you to request reimbursement from your insurance company at their discretion.

  • Cash (exact change only), check, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. Payment is expected in full at the time services are rendered. Mind Yourself Therapy and Integration PLLC utilizes SimplePractice and Stripe for automatic, secure credit card processing.

  • The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 50 minutes. Because your appointment time is held exclusively for you, cancellations or rescheduling requests must be received at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session time.

If an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice for any reason, you will be responsible for a late cancellation fee of $75.00 as authorized in your financial paperwork.

If you arrive late for a session, the session will still conclude at its originally scheduled time, and you will lose that portion of your clinical hour. The full hour fee will not be adjusted for late session arrival.

  • Under the federal No Surprises Act, health care providers are legally mandated to give patients who do not possess insurance, or who are intentionally choosing not to utilize their insurance benefits (self-pay), an formalized estimate of the bill for medical items and services—including clinical psychotherapy and consultation services—prior to those specific services being rendered.

You maintain an absolute legal right to receive a comprehensive Good Faith Estimate for the total expected financial cost of any non-emergency medical items or services. This encompasses the expected baseline financial investment for your scheduled psychotherapy sessions.

If you schedule a clinical service at least 3 business days in advance, your provider is required to deliver a written Good Faith Estimate within 1 business day after scheduling. If you schedule at least 10 business days in advance, you must receive the written estimate within 3 business days after scheduling.

You also retain the right to formally ask your healthcare provider for a Good Faith Estimate prior to scheduling a service, which must be compiled and provided to you within 3 business days of your formal request.

If you ultimately receive an official billing statement or invoice that is at least $400 or more above your structured Good Faith Estimate from that specific provider, federal law grants you the explicit legal authority to dispute the bill via the patient-provider dispute resolution process.

Ensure that you securely save a physical copy, digital file, or screenshot of your formalized Good Faith Estimate upon receipt.

For deeper inquiries or localized information regarding your legal right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit the official government site at www.cms.gov/nosurprises or contact the federal No Surprises Help Desk directly at 1-800-985-3059.
